it would have to be South Africa.
the country has got desert to the (north)west.
it has got arid, as well as grassland plateaus relatively high in altitude( e.g Gauteng, Free State provinces).
you will find savanna in the northern provinces.
a long mountain range along the coast from the south west to the north east of the country.
there is the garden route on the south coast, lush and rains all year round.
kwazulu natal is tropical-like, warm climate,lush, well watered and green.
there are plenty of beaches(2 500km coastline), but different, especially if you were to compare those from Cape Town to Durban beaches... with the latter being surfer's delight.
